New to our site and just learning about Hope & Hearts? Here is a little about how this event got started and what it is all about...

April and Dan Wurst and Candy and Steve McVicar began hosting the event in honor of their daughters, Kaila and Grace, who were both stillborn due to cord issues at 38 and 33 weeks gestation respectively. Hope and Hearts is about hope for the future through education and research and supporting the hearts of families who have lost to move forward. Please join us as we Run to make a difference!

Angie & Eric Brown joined Missing GRACE Foundation to host the first Hope & Hearts Run in Texas in honor of their daughter, Payton, who was stillborn due to a possible cord issue at 39 weeks gestation. They lovingly remember their daughter and want to support other families who have endured the loss of a child and desire to help educate the community in hopes of preventing such a loss for others.

Proceeds benefit the Missing GRACE Foundation which provides support and resources locally in TX and nationally to aid individuals as they Grieve, Restore, Arise, Commemorate and Educate. The mission of Missing GRACE Foundation is to provide resources and support to aid families who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss, infertility or adoption challenges and to advocate for proper management of pregnancies for all women.

Donate If you are unable to volunteer or even come and participate, you can still support our work by donating. It can be in support of a participant, or just as a general donation to the Foundation.

Sponsor We appreciate and value individual and corporate sponsorships which help to off-set costs of the race. The more sponsors we receive, the more money can be directed to our goal of supporting and educating families/medical community on stillbirth awareness and prevention.

What YOU can do Numbers count !! Please consider forming a team for the event; walking or running is much more fun with friends. Come by yourself and meet others committed to the cause. We are so grateful and honored to all who join in.

Volunteer To make this event a success, many people donate their time and talents. This includes everything from overall planning, advertising and registration, to posting flyers and much more. Ask your friends and family to join in!
